Opened in 2018, right on the promenade of Altenhof: the Fontane Hotel is the quiet side of the Werbellinsee. One house, one restaurant, a lawn down to the shore and a team that welcomes guests like friends.

The name

Theodor Fontane, the wanderer of the Mark.

The poet who explored the Mark Brandenburg on foot and described its lakes and forests gives the house its name. His portrait in the logo, his lines in the restaurant: “Enjoy with imagination.”
