Notice on AI-assisted content.

Photos and moving images on this website are real recordings of the house, with two marked exceptions. AI tools help with texts and with the concierge. Here is what that means exactly.

Images and moving images

All photos show the Fontane Hotel, Theodors Restaurant, the lawn, the rooms and the Werbellinsee, taken between 2019 and 2026. The short moving images on the home page and the topic pages come from a shoot on site on 16 October 2026 with camera and drone. Three AI-generated transition clips from the draft phase were replaced by real footage on 18 October 2026.

Two AI visualisations

The image on the page Weddings shows two hands exchanging rings. It is not a photograph of a real wedding and shows no real people, but an AI visualisation created with GPT Image via Higgsfield. The image on the page Horse riding shows two riders on a forest path in autumn, seen from behind; this too is an AI visualisation without real people, created with GPT Image via Higgsfield. Both images are marked as AI visualisations in the caption and carry the marking in the image data as well (IPTC digitalSourceType).

Texts

The texts of this website were written by people and structured, shortened and checked with AI tools. All facts (prices, times, facilities, offers) come from the hotel. The English version was translated with AI assistance and checked; in case of doubt the German version applies.

Concierge

The concierge on this website answers questions with the help of an AI language model based on the published hotel information. Its answers are marked as AI information and do not replace binding information from the house; booking confirmation and reception are binding. Which data are processed is explained in the privacy policy, section 7.

Why we disclose this

Because you should know what you are looking at and who you are talking to. Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence requires transparency for AI-generated content and AI systems in customer contact; we consider this right regardless of deadlines. We mark every AI-generated image or video directly on the medium and here.
